Loopy children’s cardigans, hats and blanket knitting pattern.
Both stripy, and block pattern loopy cardigans, fun and a perfect autumnal addition to any child’s wardrobe.
Sizes: 3 months – 4 years.
Suitable for beginner knitters.
Yarn required for this project: Loopy children’s cardigans, hats and blanket
Two colour cardigan:
3-6 months and 6-9 months – 1 x ball of each White and Lilac DK 100g balls.
9-12 months and 12-24 months – 2 x balls of lilac and 1 x ball of White DK 100g balls.
3-4 years – 3 x balls Lilac and 2 x balls of White 100g balls.
One colour cardigan:
3-6 months and 6-9 months – 1 x 100g ball in Mulberry.
9-12 months and 12-24 months – 2 x 100g balls in Mulberry.
3-4 years – 3 x 100g balls in Mulberry.
Hats: one size
1 x 100g ball in any one colour.
Blanket: 63.5 x 76cm (25 x 30″).
2 x 100g balls of White.
2 x 100g balls of Lilac
Yarn used for this project is King Cole baby DK, If you are using other DK yarn, please check yards and tension.
You will also require:
1 pair of 4mm (UK 8 – USA 6) knitting needles
1 pair of 3.75mm (UK 10 – USA 3) knitting needles
Tapestry needle to join garment.
Buttons BT 403/ BT404 5-7 x buttons depending on size.
